Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT illuminate the watch thru its hands and hour markers at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions. This is complemented by a hardened mineral crystal, a fixed CARBONOX™ bezel with a walking speed scale, and a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Touches of white and orange contrast are evident via the dial and bezel markings, crown, compass, and the Bear Grylls logo above the 6 o'clock position. The two subdials feature a 60-second and a 30-minute. A black genuine rubber strap with compass attachment secured by a stainless steel signed buckle completes the tough and sporty look. The strap is multi-purpose since the backside serves as a Morse code guide while the front part serves as a functioning ruler and has kilometer markings. This watch has a screw-in caseback inscribed with Bear Gryll's logo, signature, and ‘Never Give Up’ motto wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 5021.D, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
